• Composition : Pelham bit with 45 mm small branches and 18 mm stainless steel cannon.
• Effect : The Pelham is a good compromise between a double bridle and a classic bridle. It gives a more or less strong lever effect that will depends on the size of the branches and on the chain adjustment. It will generate a neck cession and a pressure on the mandibles. This cannon is fixed so it has more action than a flat reclining one that you can find on the 0029P bit.
• Using advice : All Pelhams bits can be used in direct, with four reins or with Pelham loops. The curb chain action can be softened by other chain materials like leather, nylon or by a real chain with a cover.
